      Incredibly interesting. I know the value of art is subjective, but Iím curious what his paintings would be worth if an incredibly limited amount were sold???

        i suspect that family is much more knowledgeable than they've let on. His work is more "30 minute meals" than master chef cuisine, so it's better to sell the cookbooks than serve the dishes.

        I would expect that they've had lots of analysis and consultation on the business, and have concluded that marketing the Bob Ross brand in perpetuity is far more lucrative than selling off the limited artworks.
