        Also of note: Ginsberg, fresh off her lung cancer hospitalization, apparently is credited with writing the decision. She's back.

            Irritating that they didn't eliminate the practice altogether...they just eliminated it in cases where the forfeiture is disproportionate to the crime.

            So if you commit a crime that is worth more, they can keep your Land Rover for their own profit.

              especially considering that by definition, Civil Asset Forfeiture bypasses due process.
