Hey, if Ted Cruz can already be running for President in 2020, I can start covering 2018!

That dude lost all Boston credibility a while ago.
They speak in bulletpointese leftist nutjob drivel. It doesn't matter. Nothing is as great a motivator as the chance to truly be free.

Earlier this week, Tennessee Republican Sen. Bob Corker announced his intentions to retire in 2018. It didn't take long for some names to surface as possible candidates to replace him.
One of the names that has popped up is Peyton Manning. Yes, that Peyton Manning.

Dem addiction to Trump attacks gives party cause for concern

Even if Democrats win the two contests, they say it could give the party a false sense of confidence that attacking Trump is the best way to win the House and Senate in 2018.

“It's like a jolt of sugar and they can't put it down,” Democratic strategist Jamal Simmons said of the Trump attacks.

                      Bob Corker is retiring.

Pete (thinks Peyton Manning for senate just became a real possibility)

Republicans on Capitol Hill fear that Stephen Bannon’s plan to wage primary challenges against incumbent senators will put their majority at risk in 2018.

Oh right. It's Bannon that puts their majority at risk! Right...

(Reuters) - Democrats desperate to rebuild after losing the White House last year have scored a string of election victories for statehouse seats, testing a new generation of candidates and activists eager to resist President Donald Trump's conservative agenda.

Hard to say how relevant this is. When turnout is 12% and you manage to increase yours, that looks pretty convincing. But that doesn't mean that you're going to replicate those results in elections where turnout is higher.

Pete (thinks it odd that the Democrats feel a need to trumpet these results)
