It's similar to the right-wing anti-abortion people bringing child protesters to abortion clinics. I can't take that kind of theater seriously with either side.

What if there were serious gun controls?

I'm constantly coming across nonsense like this: Will current leaders believe gun lobby fiction or the truth of youth?: ANALYSIS

Dowd's central belief is that guns cause violence, which is not a rational position. And this is after attempting to claim credibility.

When The Person Shaming You For Your Abortion Is A Child

Across the U.S., kids of all ages are woken up early on Saturday mornings and brought to local abortion clinics to protest with their parents.
While anti-abortion leaders see children as an integral part of their protesting strategies, abortion rights advocates see young people being used as pawns to harass women making private health care decisions.

Killer Mike: Rapper defends gun ownership in NRA video

Run The Jewels rapper Killer Mike has spoken out against anti-gun activists following the March For Our Lives rally in Washington.

In an interview with the National Rifle Association he accused those wanting to change gun laws of being "the lackey" (obeying someone else's orders).

The Million Mom March: Mass Mobilization Against Guns

On Mother's Day 2000, record-setting demonstrations for gun control were held in Washington, D.C., and in 73 other cities. Organized by the "Million Mom March," these demonstrations were hailed by much of the media at the decisive turning point in the political battle over gun ownership. This article takes a look at the history of the march, and some of the similarities and differences from 2018 anti-gun rallies.
The MMUBCPGV still exists, at least in a nominal sense. But by 2013, it was clear that a new "mom" group was needed.

So today, "Moms Demand Action" is part of Michael Bloomberg's "Everytown" gun control organization. It is headed by Shannon Watts, formerly director of global public and corporate affairs for Monsanto, and before that a press relations officer for anti-gun Missouri Gov. Mel Carnahan. She too is portrayed in the media an ordinary mom making her first foray into politics.

The days of September 1999, when Mrs. Dees-Thomases was funding the MMM with her Visa card, are long gone. So too are the days when anti-gun activists were fighting over their share of a $4 million grant fund. Single-handedly, Michael Bloomberg and allied billionaires now far outspend the NRA. Bloomberg personally has more money than the combined market capitalization of every U.S. firearm manufacturer. Rhetorically, the antigun rallies of 2018 have much in common with their 2000 predecessors, but the financial infrastructure behind them is different by at least an order of magnitude. Thanks to Mayor Bloomberg and his friends, they will never be short of money.

Nothing is going to change so my magic 8 ball says you should prepare to be disappointed. It's like enjoying the hope you get by buying a lotto ticket when deep down you know you have no chance if winning.

Has the football ever moved past the 40 yard line on either side on any hot button issue in the last 50+ years? The powers that be keep these issues in the forefront to divide but nothing of substance is ever allowed to change.

If the threat to gun rights or racism ever went away, what would NRA execs, Sharpton and Jackson do for a living?

They speak in bulletpointese leftist nutjob drivel. It doesn't matter. Nothing is as great a motivator as the chance to truly be free.

Oh, you mean the times government stopped or lessened their infringement on people's right? Taking away a right is a different story, especially when the right you are trying to take away is the one meant to prevent the government from taking away rights.
