  • Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib photographed with pro-Hezbollah activist who says Israel has no right to exist

Freshman Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., was photographed with a Palestinian activist who praised the terrorist group Hezbollah, said Israel did not have the right to exist, and has called for Israeli "Zionist terrorist" Jews to return to Poland, where roughly three million Jews were killed during the Holocaust.

How many random people are politicians photographed with daily? I never understand how this kind of crap is news.
They speak in bulletpointese leftist nutjob drivel. It doesn't matter. Nothing is as great a motivator as the chance to truly be free.

Are you not aware that this wasn't a random encounter?

Is she going to receive a vote of disapproval, like Steve King? She's probably more anti-Jewish than him!

so you're comparing someone who has associated with a person who has said toxic and horrible things to someone who has said toxic and horrible things? I have many friends with whom I strongly disagree on many topics, but they are still part of my life -- should I be judged for their opinions too?

It's probative (being photographed with a prominently political person is an indication that you might share their political beliefs) but not conclusive (being photographed with a prominently political person doesn't necessarily mean you share their political beliefs).

Pete (wouldn't dismiss the association completely out of hand, but isn't jumping to conclusions either)
