SICKLERVILLE, N.J. -- A man who pleaded guilty in connection with the murder of a 12-year-old South Jersey girl five years ago has been charged in connection with a recent home invasion during which, sources say, he was shot and wounded.
The victims told Action News four or five armed men with masks beat and terrorized them.
The homeowner said he shot one of the assailants in self-defense.
ADA, Oklahoma -- Authorities say a man who was trying to drown his infant 3-month-old twin son and daughter in southeastern Oklahoma was fatally shot by a neighbor.
Ok, and? That article is a whole lot of nothing. I don't think it should be surprising that someone with a CCW should use if he were to be robbed. Or am I missing something?

The bravery of a homeowner put an end to the three-day long manhunt, Fitzhugh said.
The inmates had run through the woods to a home on Pruitt Road, near the rural community of Christiana.
"The homeowner was alerted somehow, he looked outside and saw the suspects trying to steal his vehicle," Lt. Bill Miller from the Tennessee Highway Patrol said late Friday.
The homeowner called his neighbor and both men, each armed with a gun, confronted the fugitives.
Having lost their weapons in the crash, Dubose and Rowe surrendered, authorities said.
Jacksonville man sits on gun, shoots self in penis, police say
A Jacksonville man accidentally shot himself in the penis early Friday morning when he sat on a gun in the driver's seat of his car, police said.
WJXT reported that Cedrick Jelks, 38, was taken to Memorial Hospital by Shanekia Roberts, 25, who told police that Jelks was sitting in his Nissan Altima by himself and came into their home on Freedom Crossing Trail in a panic and ran straight to the bathroom.
She said she followed him and saw that he had a gunshot wound to his penis, so she took him to the hospital, where he underwent surgery.
She said Jelks told her he sat on the gun, which accidentally went off.
Police were called to the hospital just before 3 a.m. because of the gunshot wound.
Investigators found that Jelks was convicted of cocaine possession in 2004.
It's possible he will be facing charges for possessing a firearm, because he is a convicted felon.
